Major Project Synthesis:
This project combines, residential, commercial, material sorting and workshop units. The materiality differentiates between the public and the private sectors of these buildings. Residents have access to communal spaces such as gardens and greenhouses. Greenhouses will give residents the chance to grow their own fruit and vegetables. These communal areas will also give them the opportunity to form a community. The material sorting centre, workshops and commercial units are interlinked. These will encourage the reuse of materials to be utilised within workshops to create revitalised items that can be sold within the commercial units.
